The (RERA) Authority can extend the validity of a project for maximum period of 1 year, in event of natural calamity/unavoidable circumstances.
What if the project still not complete? MahaRERA will allow further extension if at least 51% of allottees consent to the extension.
Wondering about giving consent? If it is in your best interest then the consent will get you the possession of new home without any further delay.
Nonetheless, projects due on/after 15th April 2021 (in Maharashtra) have received extension for another 6 months.
