The (RERA) Authority can extend the validity of a project for a maximum period of 1 year, in event of natural calamity.
What if the project still not complete? MahaRERA will allow a further extension if at least 51% of allottees consent to the extension.
Nonetheless, projects due on/after 15th April 2021 (in Maharashtra) have received an extension for another 6 months.
