Homes, Offices… may not get costlier

Homes, Offices… may not get costlier

The input cost of construction activity had risen due to a steep increase in the prices of Steel, Cement, Labour, etc.

Recently, Govt of India reduced the import duties on Steel and further this will boost the availability of raw materials to Steel-Iron Companies. Measures will be taken to check the strong availability of Cement and better Logistics support - helping reduction of procurement costs.

As Steel & Cement form a significant chunk of input cost, the sale prices of homes, offices… will be in check and consequently won’t be passed on to the prospective buyers. This will be further guaranteed by the reduction in fuel (Diesel & Petrol) prices.
