Promoters’ duties #RERA

What are Promoters’ duties towards Buyers, generally?

  1. Registration of Project (except exempted ones)

  2. Disclosure of all Project-related information on MahaRERA portal

    1. RERA Registration details

    2. Details of Flats, etc (number, type & area)

    3. Parking (number & location)

    4. Approvals & Commencement Certificate

  3. Upload all Project-related documents on MahaRERA portal

  4. Quarterly update necessary information & documents

  5. Disclosure of information to buyers while booking

    1. Sanctioned plans, Layout plans + Specifications; approved by authority

    2. Stage wise time schedule of completion of Project

  6. Fulfil promises made during Sale

  7. Provide and Maintain essential services at reasonable rates till handover of Society/Apartment Condominium

  8. Form Society/Apartment Condominium within prescribed time

  9. Convey the project land to the Society/Apartment after project completion within prescribed time

  10. Pay all outgoings (taxes, charges, etc) taken from buyers

  11. Not create charges on the Flats, etc. after being sold

  12. Timely possession of Flats, etc
