Structural Defects in new flat, shop, etc...

What if there is defect in new flat, shop, etc or common area in the project?



The types of defects that can be warranted under RERA - Structural, workmanship, quality, services or any other obligations as per agreement.



The Buyer can notify such defect to the Promoter within 5 years from possession date and Promoter’s duty to rectify it without charging any amount within next 30 days.



In case of no rectification, Buyers can be entitled for appropriate compensation.
